At Healing Paws, serving the Carlisle, PA community, we specialize in delivering compassionate modern medicine without the waiting room. Whether it’s your first days of training your new pet, the anxiety of when your companion is sick or needs a surgical procedure, or the final days of saying goodbye to your cherished loved one, we pledge to give of ourselves to make that time easier for you and your four-legged friend. Our goal is to know your family and to work right alongside you as you navigate through all the ups and downs of sharing your life with pet. That is why we are proud to offer our fully equipped mobile practice unit that will come directly to your home so you have every service you need from a veterinarian in your own front yard.
Our visits are different from other veterinary clinics you may have experienced – and not just because we bring our care to you. It’s because we view our clients and their pets as our most important assets – and we treat them as such. It’s not uncommon to see one of us get down on the floor to spend time petting, speaking soothingly and offering a treat to a nervous animal, or sharing information about our own families and pets with our clients. In fact, many of our clients know just as much about what our kids and pets have been up to as we know about theirs!
We strive to make our patients feel as calm and comfortable as possible when they are interacting with us – right down to the soothing music we have playing during our exams. You’ll also find you’re never rushed through an exam or visit. To us, it’s more important to get to know you, to bond with your pet, and to truly understand the goals you have for your animal companion. When we understand these goals, we are better able to create a customized care plan to help you achieve them, time and again.
Finally, at Healing Paws Veterinary Care, we consider you an integral part of your pet’s health care team. We promise to always take the time to listen, understand, and explain. We spend as much time as we can being sure you are aware of the best preventative steps you can take to keep your pet healthy, and to make sure you understand what is going on with them when they’re not feeling well. The better you know your pet, the better you can provide them with the best possible care.
