Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy – whether they happen to be human or animal. Our pets become a part of our family, and deciding when it’s time to let them go can be one of the most difficult and emotional decisions one will ever have to face. At Healing Paws, we understand how hard it can be because we’ve been in your shoes. We too have had to make the difficult choice of when to let go, and experienced the pain and grief of those final moments, along with the days, weeks and months that follow.
While we know this decision is never easy, our goal is to make the process as peaceful and comforting as possible for both you and for your cherished pet. We’ll work with you to help you make the right decisions at the right time, and when that time does come, we’ll be there with you, so you don’t have to go through it alone. Healing Paws offers In-Home Euthanasia, to allow you to say goodbye to your pet in the place where you both feel most comfortable.
Sometimes, just being able to choose the place where your pet will spend his or her last moments can bring a sense of comfort and relief. We will come to you, and provide our services at the location of your choice, whether it’s in their beloved bed, under the shade of their favorite tree in the backyard, or in their favorite park.
When the time comes, we will make sure your pet is made as comfortable as possible by giving them sedation. This sedation will make them feel warm and cozy, and help to relieve any anxiety either of you may be feeling as they relax. When they are ready to pass over the rainbow bridge, you will be holding them in their favorite place, and the sedation will allow them to pass peacefully in their sleep. This is what we all want as pet parents – for our pets to be able to pass in their sleep and for them to not to be alone in their passing.
At Healing Paws, we consider it an honor to help make the passing of your cherished loved one a dignified, warm and peaceful experience. If you’d like to learn more about our In-Home Euthanasia services, or you need help deciding when the time is right for your pet, please don’t hesitate to call us. We want you to know that you’re not alone during this difficult time.
