Assessing Kitty’s Movement At Home After Exam

Cats love to sleep and they are just darn good at keeping secrets from us. This comes from their wild instincts to hide pain in order not to look vulnerable. We want to help you know if they are exhibiting subtle signs of pain – these signs can be easy to miss when you live with your kitty because the changes are often tiny and gradual. When you live with them and watch them every day, sometimes subtle changes are easy to miss because they happen bit-by-bit over time and become “normal”.
Once you have submitted the videos, the doctor will assess your kitty’s movements to help you know if all is well or if your kitty may need some testing, supplements, a diet change or a treatment plan. We are here to help your cat live its best life and to make sure that you are able to provide them with what they need. We have lots of options as we know that kitties deserve to pick what is best for them!
Please change it to Please record the following short videos and submit them within 7 days. The more different types of movement/behavior we can see, the better able our doctors will be to help. Usually, using food or toys to get kitty interested in doing the behavior is enough to get them to perform at least some action.
Please include at least 2 different types of movement videos listed below. We ask that you edit/clip the videos so that they are no more than 1 minute in length in order to upload. (The more videos you submit the more information the doctor has but we also understand that not all houses have stairs and not all cats want to be movie stars!)
